CELEBRATION!!!!!
I was diagnosed with breast cancer just over five years ago. Today was a regular check with my oncologist - just the nicest doc - Dr. Gonzalez. He's been great. So during chemo and while on tamoxifen, I developed a blood clot. I haven't gone more than 6-8 weeks without seeing someone to check blood thinness, etc in 5 years. Today, I got the go ahead to stop tamoxifen and coumadin in October and I don't' have to see a doctor for the rest of this year!!! GOD IS GREAT!!!

Congratulations, Pam, on meeting this fabulous milestone! We do love our doctors, but it's so nice to be able to live without needing to see them so often. God is indeed good! I'm so glad you are doing so well.
